With the help of Tide Prediction module you can get an opportunity to define and predict the tides’ behavior before diving at a certain site. The module’s simple and user-friendly interface saves your time by predicting the exact time when the tide comes to the site. |
All tools are located at the bottom of the panel. At the top of the window you will see a graphical representation of tides on a 24-hour scale. This scale is marked by hours and other special markers that define the tide’s highs and lows.
By default, you will be able to see the tides’ behavior at the predefined site (see the Dive Site Map). However you can choose any location you wish by editing the longitude and latitude fields at the right-hand side of the window.
Tides depend on time. You can select any time and date you want in the special data field. Moreover, you can define the atmospheric pressure to get even more precise results. The pressure field is located at the bottom right-hand corner of the window.
At the bottom left-hand corner of the window you can see the list of high and low tides that occur during the selected day or period of time. You can define this period by pressing the Period of Time radio button and selecting a period from the list at the right-hand side of the screen.
The tide’s graphical representation is located at the top of the window. You can scroll through this picture by using the arrow buttons on each side of the panel.
