This part of the program gives you quick access to its large fauna database. It contains numerous species that you might encounter in the sea during your dive.
This comprehensive database means that a large number of entries on various species,along with the characteristics associated with almost all species, can be found in a moment’s notice.
The Encyclopedia consists of a few different tabs. Each one contains assorted information about selected species as well as some special Encyclopedia tools, such as a map of the region, a collage of the species’ images and a powerful filter, which allows you to find a required species from the exhaustive Encyclopedia list within a few short seconds.
There are references to the tabs, with a brief characteristic for each one:
- The Common Tab. This tab contains essential information about the selected species.
- The Features Tab. This tab contains more detailed information about the selected species along with signs for identification.
- The Links Tab. This tab contains information that describes the species as part of the ecological zone.
- The Collage Tab. Here, you can enjoy the entire Encyclopedia’s image gallery.
- The Notes Tab. This tab contains a tool that allows you to write down an additional description and/or your impression concerning to the selected species. You can also create user Sets here.
- The Map Tab. This is a world map with the species’ associated regions marked. Here, you can find a list of sites where the selected species has been observed.
- The Filter Tab. From here, you can reduce the Encyclopedia list using any species’ characteristics as filters.
